Mud Pies (Earth Day)

Leadership made mud pies consisting of oreo pieces, chocolate pudding, and whip cream for the students in our school. Five lucky students who find a gummy worm will win a prize.
It is up to our children to take good care of our Earth.
Happy Earth Day!!!

First Communion Reception

Our prayer partners are making their First Communion next week, so the eighth graders decided to host a small breakfast reception to honor them. We had donuts and juice and shared in some fun conversation. We wish you a very special day!

Stations of the Cross

Many of our Junior High students shared with our school and Parish community the prayerful re-enactment of the Living Stations. Most of the songs throughout the Stations were sung by Kristen and Joel. Those that journeyed with us down the road to Calvary were touched by the prayerful reverence the children displayed throughout the Stations. The Stations were narrated through the eyes of a little boy. Thierry, from our Kindergarten class, walked with Jesus to Calvary.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today the 8th graders hid over 800 eggs filled with candy for the pk-3rd grade to find.  They were scattered throughout our beautiful garden. When it was over there wasn't a blade of grass that hadn't been unturned. We had so much fun!

Isabel from second grade and Jadon in PK found the golden egg! They each won a Pop's Place lunch to be eaten in the eighth-grade classroom with me. Congratulations!

Confirmation

Our eighth graders received the Sacrament of Confirmation on March 14th.   Bishop Perry and Father Darrio presided over the service and spoke so eloquently about the importance of receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation and the responsibility to themselves and the church. The service was beautiful. I so enjoyed meeting all my student's sponsors and family.
